I only get this when we run multiplayer on one PC with XBox controllers here:

1. I can't use the "X" button after opening a container
2. Sometimes I lose the ability to end my current move with the "B" button
3. Once I also lost the ability to use the "Y" button in containers

Problem is that this makes the game in multiplayer a lot less smooth because after every looting session I have to do a lot of "now lets figure out the stuff in my inventory".

Does it matter what type of item you have selected in the container?

Does this happen all the time with the X button, or does it start off working and then stop at some point?
In the latter case, does saving and reloading help, or do you need to quit and restart?

Do you have different controllers you can test with?

If you create a new profile and start a new game (without mods), does this happen after a while? (assuming it can be tested in a new game [and didn't start after leaving Fort Joy, for example], and is frequent enough to be feasible to do so)

So, I can exactly tell you what happens:

I'm player one, my gf is player two.

During our playthrough suddenly I couldn't use "X" on stuff in containers anymore, This included stuff in the purse of an NPC which I stole. The context menu is visible for a split second (I think around 1/30 of a second or so) and then disappears. It doesn't matter what item type I try to open the context menu on.

Restarting the game, even restarting the PC, didn't help. Suddenly, after a few hours, the context menu worked again. I was unable to reproduce the problem afterwards. I tried using a different USB port, nothing helped. My gf did NOT have the same problem with her controller.

I will make a savegame when I get this again and send it to you if that is ok?

Yes, that is ok. Hopefully it was just a glitch, though, and will not happen again.
