I'm trying to find the key to his house, but i can't find it in the "elf healers" house. Anybody know where it might be?

Is this after the orc invasion?? It should be in the house were Demora came out. Its on a little closet. Use your alt key to see it.

here's a screenie of it

screenie key Mordaneus house (made by kiya)

I took care of the Orc's, and kicked Demora's heiny. I looked through the house (using the alt key) and couldn't see it. Could I have grabbed it earlier in the game? Or did it appear there after the healers left?

Normaly the key is only there after the orcs. Have you tried Mordanieus door yet? Maybe you took the key without noticing.

I have a bunch load of keys with me. (the result of lock picking) I've tried his door, and it won't open. When I look over my keys, it doesn't really identify where they go. That's why i've kept them all, because I won't know where they go until I try'em. Most of them are probably no good to use anyway. I won't be able to complete that quest until I unlock the door. *ugh*

I have to say there is something tricky here:

You are supposed to go inside Mardaneus house from a cave in the begining of game to help him, I tried this again but strangely I can't now.

I readed the solution here, it worked (thanks!) but I tried to go into the cave then to check. You can go into the cave but the stairs were removed.

Come on Larian laugh !

Yeah I like to dig up OLD topic.

The stairs are removed on purpose (presumably Demona did it, so Mardaneus couldn't escape).

Sounds logical, but still I lost 20 minutes because I was pretty sure of this stairs.

I know it's probably too late anyway, but a message from your characters like: "Where are the stairs ?!" would be nice to remove any doubt.

Thanks for your answer as usual !
