Hi everyone, this is my first post in the forum here.
I wanted to play Divinity series from the beginning as a newbie to the rpg genre and i started from Divine Divinity.
I'm having this problem shown in the screenshots i share here, resolution doesn't seem to work properly i mean i can't reach the area at the bottom right part of the screen and the bottom are in general.
I'm not familiar with this forum format so i hope i can share the screenshots properly. Any help would be very appreciated.

Did you try changing the game resolution in the configuration program, or switching to software mode, rather than Direct3D?
Does the selected resolution match the aspect ratio of your monitor?

In the Divine Divinity install folder, try right clicking on the div.exe program file, select Properties, switch to the Compatibility tab and try different compatibility modes. In Win 7, disable desktop composition and check 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings'; for Win 10, check 'Override high DPI scaling behavior' and set it to Application.

Try resetting your graphics driver's 3D settings to default (right click an open area of the desktop to start the nvidia Control Panel / AMD Radeon Settings), and check if there are any options there for stretching or scaling fullscreen applications.

Try the Windows 8 Performance "Patch" (works in Win 7 and 10, as well).

You can try running the game in windowed mode. This can be done by hex editing the div.exe executable in the install folder (see the topic [Info] Debug Mode - Better FPS + Windowed Mode), or download this edited version and extract div-window.exe (Steam v1.0062) into your Divine Divinity folder and try running it from there.

Hi Raze, thanks for your reply.
I use a 1080p 16.5" laptop. First i tried switching to software mode in configure settings and then I tried checking 'Override high DPI scaling behavior' for Windows 10 as you said and it seemed to work fine for a moment. It had black bars in sides and up & down, but all of the hud was visible at least. But when i carry my mouse outside of the black bars it started this glitch kind of thing shown in the SS's below, started painting a picasso work or something.
this is my configure settings
at first it seemed fine although there was black bars
but when i moved my mouse around this happened.
As i said i only tried Override high DPI scaling behavior yet, now i will try others. Thank you for your suggestions and pardon my english please.

Hi again, i've managed to solve the black bars problem, now i can play on fullscreen on 1080p, thank you so much for your help. I know i keep asking questions but this time the fonts in the game seem very little to read, here's some screenshots to explain myself better.

I think its something about the scaling but i really don't have a knowledge in that area. Could you suggest a fix to that?
Thanks.

Lowering the game resolution should help with the text size, or there is also a font enlargement mod.

Hi!

For some reason the only resolutions that are in full screen are 4k and 2560X1440. But everything gets so small and i want to lower the resolution.

All others are showing as a small box in the middle of the screen, and i did try 16:9 resolutions but no difference.

I also installed the large fonts mod.

I have enabled Override high DPI scaling behavior and set it to Application.

I use the software setting and not the D3D.

Any suggestions?
