Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Alchemy - Extract doesn't work?

It gives me the menu when I right-click an alchemy plant, lets me choose the size of the potion, but every choice past that is grayed out regardless of which character I have selected. I can't see the strategy guide mentioning anything else that has to be done for this to work. What gives?

How many different types of alchemy plants do you have in your inventory?
You need to combine different types of plants, and if you only have 2 or 3, it is possible there are no viable combinations.

Amazing that there's still support like this first of all... You guys are truly dedicated to your craft!

I seem to have searched the wrong part of the forums. That does answer it: it's one of many many things that are inconsistent. I think most of the other skills work from either character's inventory, but this one requires the ingredients to be with the one doing the alchemy. Oh well.
