Who has seen the movie??
I just did yesterday and I find it kinda dissapointing. Imho the story has NOTHING to do with tuned cars, the NOS effects were too blurry,...

all in all it was NOT better than the first one, sure there were lots of more tuned cars but a LOT less nice looking girls, the races weren't filmed so good,...

Well I didnt mind it but I should point out a few things.

1) I was expecting it to be asolutely terrible. I cant stress this enough. That it wasnt the gutter trash I was expecting doesnt mean it was good. It just means I liked it better, because my expectations were so low.

2) I got in for free, a friend won tickets

3) The tickets were gold class so we got comfy lounge chairs and free booze.

If I'd had to pay, and not been mildly drunk, I may not have enjoyed it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

heh yeah i agree. i definately thought it was a huge disappointment.
then again, i didn't really like the first. too much bloody gino'ism.
but that's just me, i guess. that and i dont like Vin Diesel. and Paul
Walker can't act for crap.

Vin was good in Pitch Black. An exception yes, but what an exception.

that's true... it's not really HIM i dont like, it's just the
roles that he plays and pretty much the movies that he is in.
Fast and the Furious... xXx... those I didn't like. Pitch Black
is definately an exception, and I've heard that A Man Apart should
definately be a good one to watch, as well. Let's just hope <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

I like Vin Diesel though, he's the one that 'carried' the 1st one and I DID like that one

Yes, well be lucky because here in south africa it is not even on the cinema circuit yet and I still have a month to wait before it opens here

but we make jokes about vin diesel being in my friend's band, because this guy is getting so big, muscle-wise. vin diesel or not?

Yeah in Pitch Black Vin was Awsome, idd the F and F, it wasn't his kind of movie. xXx because he was bald??? 'did you notice how many bald men there were on the bad-dudes list in the cia hq or whatever'

In Pitch Black awsome acting, very scary.

Viper: I like the first one as well and Vin did carry it, you hardly noticed Walkers character really. The basic thruth is its not a film that needed a sequel. I mean the plot is fairly lame in the first place, its not something you can milk to a second film.

but hey, i'm proud of who i am... and i wouldnt rather be anybody else...

that's what counts... and that's how you should feel about yourself, you know.
i guess i'm a faily decent lookin guy, though i dont get myself bloated up
about it. i've had strangers approach me and tell me im good looking and ask
me out, even. but that's not what makes me happy. what makes me happy is that
my family loves me, the most important lady in my life (other than me mum, of
course) loves me and makes me feel special, and my friends love me and are there
for me when i need them and even when i dont need them. that's what makes me
happy to be me. and that's what keeps me going on from day to day with a smile
on my face.

good looks has nothing to do with it, my friend...
it's the attitude that makes you attractive... and
unattractive, for that matter. Look at J'Lo for that
matter. She's got a body that's gorgeous as hell, and
you'd have to be blind and dumb not to admit it. But
her attitude, a shitty attitude, makes her unattractive...
