Hi pals.

I have updated the software package in a most general and convenient way.

You need to click the link

Hemetis Home Page

Then download this list, if it is your first install, from the FTP directory

DDIE1.CAB 15-Jul-2003 18:35 572k
DDIE2.CAB 15-Jul-2003 18:36 713k
DDIE3.CAB 15-Jul-2003 18:36 713k
DDIE4.CAB 15-Jul-2003 18:36 353k
SETUP.LST 15-Jul-2003 18:37 4k
setup.exe 15-Jul-2003 18:37 137k

Into a temporary directory, then run setup.exe

Or download the DDIE.exe updated file only if you have all dll(s) etcetera.

This version (1.1) may edit items.000 up to 4MB in size and has no last path problems.
Tested on XP and 98SE

Enjoy.

Naturally I could pretend to be [color:"red"]Deaf [color:"red"]And [color:"red"]Dumb.

My new picture is one that I found to be more suitable for the forum.
Besides, I am still VERY young at heart and spirit so being 48 chronologically is not a big deal.

When you reach level 66 go to the Dwarven Château; you shall find me sitting in the far and dark corner holding a notebook and a pencil, while occasionally sipping my Glenfiddich to help me while defining infinity. On the table, there shall be a huge tobacco pipe (handmade by Titano). Wait until I take a puff from my pipe, then go to the bartender and ask him if he knows the whereabouts of Thanatos the Elf. He should say that he never heard of him because it is true. Thanatos shall be sitting right next to me and on hearing his name he shall introduce himself to you and ask you to join us.
I have a new weapon to show you.
I managed to assemble my RRA = Ruby Rod Amulet with my MFR = Mirror Face Ring, and Thanatos just delivered the doughnut-jar of FFF = forest fire flies, which on inserting the RRA-MFR assembly into it, a powerful LASER beam is emitted from the other end of the ruby rod that is opposite to that which has the MFR.
Quite an interesting weapon, yet while it is practically ineffective against Orcs it is of great destruction to spirits, skeletons and zombies. It also has the advantage of being a ranged weapon. For me it is a perfect addition since I acquired my legendary sword Fishbonecore that was forged by the famous Dwarf blacksmith Gulgarith from a metal extracted from an iridium meteor that hit earth long ago to form a core with the shape of fish bone, and that is how it got its name. But the blade itself is titanium-tungsten carbide. With it, I could literally split a hardened royal tower shield like you split butter with an iron knife.
I saw with Thanatos an exceptionally balanced titanium Rangoon, which you might be interested to buy from him. So bring on your gems to trade, but the orange juice is my treat.

No problem, I should have paid Thanatos handsomely after which he would have said:
"Oh my, the Rangoon ran goon, you may take it, Kiya, as a gift.”
(Thanatos winks to DAD)

No, it does not fit the tastes of a mighty Orc.
For you Jurak, I would suggest that you go to Davidakis the sling master.
Tell him "DAD sent me", and he shall give you a dark-green Orcish sling and a set of four magic-augmenters, you could choose the damage type by a single pull of a string.
It is also a ranged weapon that covers the entire range of devastation for all creatures, ahem, except battle mages of level 70 and upwards as they are practically immune to all sorts of attack that only cost them a tiny fraction of manna, this includes DAD.

This is really strange because I do remember clearly to have answered you by a question for simplicity.
I said: How can a Chinese read Italian Poetry.
It seems that it never made it or that I never clicked continue due to a rush hour of windows. [Linked Image]
