I don't think they are any news since the announcement that the XBOXS split screen coop support will be dropped and the game will be able to release by the end of the year.

Larian haven't been building up much to subsequent release - Mac support has been announced like, what, a week before it was released? I expect at least a bit more fanfare for XBOXes, but don't expect months long hype. The port has been in development, so hopefully now when they can make the game work on XBOXS they can finish porting the game sonner rather than later. Still cutting a feature can come with some extra work, so they might need some time to finalise it.
