I am always silenced. I can go to camp and take a long rest and it makes the sound that silence has been removed and it shows that it has. I can walk around for a minute or talk to someone and then bam silenced again. This is with my created character, not the party members. Any suggestions as to fixing this.

DO you have something equipped that might be doing that? Some cursed item?

If you are wearing armor you are not proficient with, you can't cast spells.
