Ok, possibly some dumb questions and some observations, but here goes:
1. Is there any way to actually make the "active" character lead, and the other character follow? As it currently works, when both characters are selected, when you click on a location to move to, it seems almost random which character will be "in the lead". It certainly isn't based on which one is the active character, as you would expect. Since one of my characters is almost totally a tank, (the hero) and the other is almost totally a caster, (the death knight) having it be a 50/50 chance which one is in front isn't acceptable.
2. Is there any way to get a magic using character to automatically switch to using his weapon (a bark, in this case) when he runs out of mana, or do you have to manually switch his pimary skill over to his weapon? Seems like you should be able to select his weapon for his secondary ability, (if desired) which would then automatically be used when he runs out of mana. Since you can't seem to be able to select weapon for secondary ability, or automatically switch to it, you're currently forced to keep manually changing your primary ability.
3. Seems like half the time I try to attack with my magic using character, he just stands there doing nothing.... after experimentation, it *appears* that if he is out of range/LOS of his target, he just stands there and doesn't try to get closer/within LOS, whereas a character armed with a melee weapon rushes to attack. When matched with opponents that like to hit and run, (generally because your melee character is chasing them) this makes extreme micromanagement neccesary, as just clicking on a foe to attack does NOTHING. You have to move close, then attack, then move close, then attack, then move close, etc. etc. etc. The LOS problem is even more annoying. Move to a position, click to attack... nothing happens... move to another position, click to attack... nothing happens... move yet again... oops, melee character dies 'cause he had no ranged support.
4. Both PC's and NPC's need to be able to attack while moving, or if that is too difficult, determine hit/miss based on where characters are at start of attack, not at the "hit" point in the attack animation. Against a target that is moving, any melee attacker is completely ineffective, as by the time the attack would land, the target is out of range. Sneaking through the DK patrol zones in act I, it didn't matter if a DK patrol had found me or not, so I largely ignored them. I'd have 2-3 nipping at my heels, but as long as I kept moving, they LITERALLY couldn't hit me, and since I was sneaking, they'd lose me as soon as I went through any kind of door.... and yes, this is at SNEAKING speeds... i.e. slow movement. (Incidentally, I couldn't swear this is true, but I seem to have noticed that if you sneak while encumbered, you don't lose stamina while sneaking. I don't particularly like being encumbered, so haven't tried to reproduce that)
