Hi all,
I didn't know the game only saved so many times before overwriting. I had two characters, one I played alone and the other I played in multiplayer with my son. I did not create a separate profile for each and now can't access my single player games. How do I restore or load saved games from my saved games file on my pc, or can you?

I wish I could help, but it doesn’t look as though Windows keeps previous versions of savegames by default. I’m sure this must have been mentioned by others before, but it would be so much better if each new character created had their own save game folder (without needing to create separate profiles). I know that doesn’t help you though .

Hope someone more PC-savvy has a suggestion.

EDIT: I just looked into this a bit further, and if you have OneDrive sync turned on and look at the files there then there are at least some historic versions of the auto and quick save files that can be found and restored. Not something I’ve ever played around with though, I’m afraid. (I’m assuming you’re on Windows from your mention of PC, so hope this is relevant.)

Thanks for your answer. I've decided to reroll and run again. Was not that happy with my first character.

Just remember to make a manual proper save, not a quicksave, if you want to have a save that isn't overwritten

Whenever I do a playthrough with a new character I always load up the last of the old ones, save it proper and then restart the game.

I make a profile for every character I play and disable autosave. THat worked for me so far
