Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Inventory Issue

Picked up an empty crate in the Blighted Village near where the ogres are gathered and all my inventory disappeared.

Here is some additional info about the issue:

1. My weight is the same as before. So my gear is not truly gone, I just can't see it.
2. New items picked up appear in the inventory as normal.
3. The only way to see my old inventory is to go to a vendor.
4. I tried selling the offending crate and it didn't change anything.
5. I saved and reloaded my game and that didn't change anything either.

As far as I can tell, my entire playthrough with this character is scrubbed. I went back to a few older saves and most (not quite all) my gear is still missing. My 2000+ gp is definitely still missing from the inventory.

Update: The problem persisted even with a new character on the nautilus. To fix this I deleted the profile I was using, closed out BG3, then restarted the game with a new profile.

Update (again): I have tried to reproduce this issue by starting a new game and just ramming through all the way to the Blighted Village for the sole purpose of picking up crates. So far I can't reproduce it, so it must have just been a one-off weird random issue.
