It's very immersion breaking when a character places a one handed weapon on the back, Wizards and Sorceress as Well should be able to use their staff as a walking stick. That would be very cool. And I suppose this is not very difficult or much time consuming to implement and is crucial for immersion IMO.

On a second note some weapons models are just complete oversized rubbish. Halberds,Glaives and Pikes for an example have an almost JRPG look to them, the shaft is too thick and the tip is too large ;D
That said the +1 models of various weapons are also not very appealing, aside from the golden finish they're also not very believable. +1 daggers with a freaking cup guard?!Really? Also those sci-fi looking +1 rapiers *facepalm*. There are plenty of Historical references to be used on moddeling from late medieval period and early renaissance(Is what i think the non fantasy part of the design is based on) that are waaaaaaaaaaaaay better looking and more belivable as the ones we have in game right now. That goes for the armors as well, some of them really look non functional and cheesy.

What do you guys think? Am i being unreasonable? or just a very passionate nerd? Don't get me wrong i love the game and the ambition it represents. Sorry about the broken english and cuddos from Spain.

There's a button to unsheath weapons while exploring. That way you can have Wizards use their staff as a walking stick and carry two handed weapons in a sensible way.

I don't understand why that's not default with large weapons, it looks much better.

Greatswords were stupidly large unless they shrunk them in patch 7.

Still hoping someday we may get weapon sheaths, quivers, quarrels, etc.

I know it's a minor cosmetic detail, but I can't fucking stand the "naked weapon floating glued to your back" videogame-y thing from the early 2000. And precisely because it's minor it wouldn't really cost that much to fix.

I'm not sure why Larian is struggling finding a solution around this nitpick when there are competitors that managed just fine with a FRACTION of their overall budget (see Owlcat).

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN

Looks like they were working on a crap ton of cinematics for animations (presuming they are the same people doing animations for characters as well).

RIGHT?! I think the sad thrue is that they haven't looked into it yet. Let's try to keep this thread alive and maybe they'll see it. On the latest panel from hell they said they took feedback from the forums, aparently the new UI and the group control quality of life features were implemented thanks to the feedback forum. So there's still hope my friend.

Apparently they've expanded production quite a bit there are at least 4 more studios working on the game as well, providing models and such. Can't imagine the workflow hell that must be.
