I tried to do a long rest in the Dank Crypt and whereas all the supplies I 'send to camp' are usually waiting for me in a crate or something, this time there was nothing, a few empty sacks and that was that, so I can't do a full rest. Where did all the food go?

This is something that has persisted since the last patch. I think it might just be better to not allow long rest while inside such areas since the player is going to have to exit anyway to get the long rest.

Perhaps the character could say something like "it's not safe to sleep here" to indicate that you can't long rest.

Technically, this is normal for the gameplay so far. You need to leave that area; go outside.

I always just send supplies and food to Camp, so it’s in my Traveller’s Chest wherever we make camp. It’s a nuisance having to dig food out of the chest every rest though, I wish it included your Chest in the food selection when you hit the campfire.

Are you able to access your camp supplies even when inside a place like the crypt (where Withers is), LukasPrism? I think the only way to long rest in that situation is if you actually have food or supplies in your party inventory. Camp inventory is usually missing when camping inside such locations.

Yep I’ve never had any issues in the mini-camps. Sometimes it does take a bit of time to figure out where the Traveller’s Chests are. I can’t remember which camp but one of them they’re quite close by but in shadows so easy to miss.
