guess it's a bug that relates to the new UI. Whenever I load a saving, all the spells I've organized in my preferred location will go back to their original position. and I have to re-organize them every time.

I am also having this issue. Hopefully it can be addressed in future hotfixes.

I am experiencing the same thing. Too bad there's no "lock hotbar" option that I can see. Also I can't scroll to see all my powers or whatever if I have more than the visible bar shows.

Shouldnt the information about changing aspects of UI saved extra as a file, everytime when you change it it will be automaticly saved in background.
It should never be related to a Savegame File.
You want changes of UI stay over Loading and Saving game status. Thats obvious and there we are having this Bug. frown

I know it's a really small thing, but this is the main reason I haven't gotten off the Nautiloid post-patch 7 (yet). The game's great, so I don't mean this harshly.

The two changes I'd really like:
-Keep the hotbar organised the way we organised it upon reloading saves (what this post is about)
-Stay on whichever tab the hotbar was upon switching characters (Example: I look at Wylls Custom bar, and switch to Gale, then back to Wyll - I'd be on the starting bar and not the custom one, as I'd want to. Note: D:OS2 has a similar system, where I could look at Lohses action bar 2, switch character and back, and still be looking at the second action bar. Much preferred ^_^ )

This! I'm obsessive about my hotbars and this has been driving me nuts.

I tried the 'custom' tab in hopes that it would be the solution, but I didn't even bother once I saw that there are no numbers or hotkeys associated with those slots.

Very disappointed that the hotfix didn't fix this issue (I read through the notes and then tried it out, still the same). Larian, please let us choose where we want spells, again (I put a cantrip or whatever my most-used attack is on 1 for each character, makes fights go so much more smoothly).

(By the way- this isn't just for spells. I moved Astarion's rogue bonus actions over to the common bonus actions and the game moved them back after I loaded that save. mad)
