note: I play in german. Is there a translation problem?

In the hotbar you can now sort stuff.
Below the hotbar there are several categories, such as common actions, class specific actions and items.
If I click on items the hotbar is always empty, even though I have usable items in my inventory.
This is the problem I talk about.

Above the hotbar you can sort it by actions and bonus actions.
This works, so when you press action or bonus action you can see items that can be used this way. (and all abilities too)

I have not played the game for a long time so I am not sure how it was before.
It is nice that you can now sort stuff in the hotbar.
But the UI is still far from perfect, though I am not sure how to improve it.

OK, I found it out.
You have to right click an item in the inventory and then you can select item or user defined and then it will show up in this part of the hotbar.
