I've been playing around with the new patch and tried to get into the teifling kid's hideout after my wis 8 barbarian was pickpocketed. Even when shrunk in size with Enlarge Reduce, she wasn't able to squeeze through the crack. To me that seems like it should work.
It definitely should, since halflings can get through by default.
What's ridiculous is that "disguise self" as a halfling lets you through, even though disguise self doesn't change your shape at all. It's a symptom of lazy code design.
