In patch 7, I loaded up a new game, chose rogue, and went about the start of the game as normal, but some combat bugs with encounters kept happening. It might have to do with sneaking or sneak attack, but I will clearly attack enemies and they wont start combat, even though I didn't defeat them in one blow. I will also have allies not joining the battle despite being right in the middle of it.

While those can be fixed by just finicking with the game to get the characters to the right places the game can detect them into combat, what really agitates me is that for some reason, any damage I do to enemies before initiate is rolled and combat starts, just disappears. This is all occurring on the ship in the beginning of the game. Several demons and intellect devourers have had these issues so far. I just want to make sure the issues are known and see if anyone else is having the same problems as me. I hope a hotfix addresses this. I should note, these dont happen all the time, but they happen often enough that it can be agitating.

I have been using Asterian to snipe at enemies beforehand and the issue is there seems to be a bug in the AI behaviour when they can't "see" their target. I have my entire party hidden out of sight (in stealth) and Asterian will stealth, then use sneak attack at range and immediately stealth again. This results in hostile NPCs standing still and do nothing - so I can rinse and repeat. There's ONE exception though - in the hidden cave with the statues and the goblin party if you kill one of them, and restealth the goblins will start to search for the "killer". But this is the only encounter that works like that.

I'd reckon all NPCs should follow that pattern - or at least retreat to a more defensible position and take precaution (like being on lookout or actively start searching).

Somewhat related to that is the goblin camp, in which you can basically freely walk up to a goblin and kill it. The dialogue gives you plenty of options to avoid consequences (which is okay) but I feel some of those consequences are too easily avoided especially with Guidance.
