Hi all,

I have a strange problem with pick pocket. I've put quite a lot of points into the skill (9 I think) so from what I've read I shouldn't have too much trouble stealing stuff. The wierd thing is that to begin with I had no problems stealing from the BF merchants (Act 4) but now I can't steal anything from them - the game just say something along the lines of "I can't pickpocket that item!".

It's almost as if they've caught me and are paying more attention to me now I can pickpocket other merchants. Anyone know what's going on? (most annoying - I cannot seem to pickpocket those nice stat stones... have to buy them the honest way!

It almost seems like after a few pick pockets, you can't do it anymore. I guess you'll just have to be more selective about what you steal.

You can only pickpocket a specific number of times depending on how many points you have in the skill per target!!!! So dont pickpocket items and stuff of little value.

The next act you will be able to start pickpocketing the BF traders again.

No shame at all. Think what they recently did to OUR Homer in the movie...
*Luc is very happy to see one more Greek in the forum.*

Oh, sorry to disappoint you but I'm not greek myself - just the name (I'm from Denmark). We have a saying here when something is difficult that "it looks like greek to me". From that line you just posted for me I now know why

Not disapointed at all. Glad to see that people from other countries read Homer. I was just welcoming you to the forum. Still I like your nick and you are very welcome Good luck with pick pocketing.

with pickpoket is there a time lag? I was able to steal again after a while and then i couldn't again. I was switching from battle field to real world to battle field at the end of act II, and noticed that they didn't let me steal but after a while i could steel 3 things and it stopped again or was this my imagination?

And what happens if you unlear pick poket and learn it again? Are you able to steal again?

And pickpoketing realy pays of in the battle field, was it just as good in DD? I was to honest then....
