We have profiles. I just name a profile for the class I am playing in that "universe". All my save games for that are kept in that profile. That's cool.
I tell Steam to keep the profiles in the "cloud". It does. I get to my other computer and low and behold, my profiles are in the proper location in the file system (yes, the new location).
I load up the game and.... empty. No profiles at all. I make a new profile on computer B. It synchs to the cloud. All the profiles are on the filesystems of both computers. I can only see the profiles I made on B on B and vice versa. Well, that's useless.
Even though they are exactly the same platform, I'll try making a profile with "cross platform" turned on. The profile does not appear on computer B. I make a different profile on B with cross platform turned on and it can now see the save files that were made on computer A in it's cross platform profile. Even though it's a DIFFERENT profile. I make a few more profiles with cross platform. THEY ALL SHARE THE SAME SAVE FILES. And only 5 of them at that.
Why the hell can't I see the profiles that are right there next to the ones I can see?
