Ok so I played this when it first started. Pretty good.
Played with Druids, enjoyed that. Mostly fixes but did not notice additional game changes, except I cannot find that beholder anymore
Played when you added sorcerer as well as other fixes. I noticed some changes, additional side quests, additional dialogue. Enjoyed it and liked the improvements
Playing it again with Barbarian. More side quests, more dialogue. Used speak with Animals. Top Notch! My wife wanted to play as soon as I showed I could talk to the dog, she really doesn't like D&D.
Feedback on characters:
Laezal: A real gun ho drill Sargent bitch. Its either her way or the highway. Nicely done
Shadow Heart: Moody keep it to her self half elf. I am still pealing the onion to find out more about her. Nicely done.
Asterian: I thought I would hate this guy being a vampire. I decided to not kill him just for being a vampire and got to know him. Deep down underneath he is a good guy dealt some bad cards. He doesn't want to be bad. If you say no to his biting, he whines but agrees. I like this guy now.
Gale: Intellectual know it all. I like and hate him for that. But this whole timebomb thing where he has to consume stuff and causes issues when he is down is a game killer for me. I stopped taking him at all, just not worth it. (He doesn't even go to my camp anymore)
Blade of Frontiers: Good guy with a revenge complex who took a path he regrets. I like him as well.
I also like the side quests which leave you wondering if you did the right thing or not. Is she really a demon, bent on destruction, or is she a refuge who is being hunted by cultists. I really don't know
Adding the 3 ogres was a nice touch as well.
Gith party of death, I like that.
Zentrum lair, I liked that a well.
Rangers still need the scaling version of pets rather than fixed values. A little op now, but will be under powered later on due to not scaling
Wouldn't mind seeing the Human variant which can take a feat at 1st level
Looking forward to Bard.
