The imp hero wants me to kill the Giant Spider. Well I did, and he just keeps asking me to kill it. Also, where is the 'mummy' these little idiot imps keep telling me to kill?
I'm having a REALLY hard time in act II. I die in almost every fight with 2 or 3 enemies and I'm using more potions than ever. Is there a way to get charms out of an item and put it into a new item? All my good charms are in crappy items I don't wear anymore.

Okay I now know what the 'Mummy' is. The other questions remain.

Sadly, once you put charms in an item, you can't take them out.

Did you pick up the spider leg from the spider just north west of the imp hero?
From the village, the north west or south west areas would probably be a little easier to do than the spider forest, if you have not been there yet.

Do you mean the queen spider? That wasn't north west of the hero. All I got from the queen was a 'queen's web'.

Nope, not the queen, NW of the imp hero is a normal spider, dropping a leg upon defeat - maybe you killed it already? Scroll over the NW area and keep pressing ALT - it blends with the ground. Kiya

Oh ok, that's the difference.
BTW, Kiya, do you buy all your charms or just pick them up? I just bought 2 silver ones and it wiped me out.

Me??????? <innocent fluttering look> - errhm, well, I... sort of... organise charms - being tortured in cramped up trader windows - unpolished, badly treated and homeless. Kiya

Hmm, I should steal them. But I've already spent so much gold on them it would be kind of a pyrrhic victory. Besides, I don't have anything to unlearn so I can get pickpocket.

It would take a few levels to get it to a worthy number though. Lews, do you buy armor or just wait to get it as loot? I bought bone and scale armor just to see what I liked better but each has its own drawbacks.

If I don't have good armor from loot (usually raanar or bone) I buy stuff. But if I have something good from loot Ill use it.

I usually rely on gear that I find - but keep in mind that inventory restocks each time you enter - at least in part. So you can zone in, check for that uber weapon or armor piece, zone out and repeat as needed fairly quickly. Ditto for potions and charms.
Reality is for those who cannot cope with fantasy. Fortunately, I can cope quite well.

Well, usually as soon as I get the first battlefield key I go hunting for equipment with a luck bonus at the merchants. There is nothing wrong in helping fortuna along a bit <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I was lucky. I found an unique robe which suits me fine. No need for me to buy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
