I would like to know how many hours it took you.

Just, uh, a half dozen times.

30-40 hours on a first playthrough and something closer to 20+ at subsequent ones where things were a lot more familiar.

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN

We don't really know when the end of act 1 is. But assuming the EA currently includes most of act 1, then yeah.

I am unsure if the trip to Moonrise counts as act 1 still, or forms part of act 2. I was assuming the former.

Sven has...nobody in EA has. It's not finished yet.

We are still missing a chunk of act1. 30-40h should be enough for a pretty thorough playthrough of the content that we have.

Got 256 hrs in EA so far and finished it many times smile Much joy. Wonder if there will be DLC?? I would be very happy for this to go on for many years.

How could there not be several DLCs.

All that work means that adding story content would be much easier.

Dlc's have historically not been a thing Larian Studios work with. That said, this is the first time they have access to such a huge source material that it might lead to a change in that department

Edit: That is *Paid* dlc's. They did release some extra goodies for free in DoS.

20 hours will full content on storyline 1 alpha :D, so it means, about 30-40 hours on act 1 after release, i think second act we can see about 50-80 hours easily and third act will be of 40 hours approximately because of familiarity, maybe more with inventory managements.

We dont agave the full thing but I'll average 20 hours just to get to the underdark which is probably half way through the act.

This was also my understanding and as they never really expanded on DOS2, I was worried they might be tempted to move on to another project and leave BG3 as it will be after the 3rd act. If they do and I really hope they do, I would be very glad to know that Larian were doing the writing and development and not farming it out to a 3rd party. That could still be a good thing I suppose. Does anyone know for sure if this game is set up to allow expansions, heavy modding etc?? I have seen some of the mods on Nexus but not tried anything yet as they seem to mostly be hairsyles smile
