Every now and then, for seemingly no reason, the sound will become tinny as if the audio has switched from stereo to surround but without the main channels present and the speakers playing from within a closet.
Most of the time the audio clears up back to normal in a few seconds. The instances are inexplicable, unpredictable, and unreproducible, unfortunately.
