Sometimes stuff is taking ages to load or doesn't load at all.It's just this site having this issue.

Edit:ok for some reason its better now.

UPDATE:still a bit slow at times but nowhere near as slow as before.

It's always been the case, even when the site isn't overloaded like a few days ago after the PfH. I often get delays of 5-10 seconds or more, or even regular timeouts.

I noticed that it was quicker in anonymous mode, when it doesn't have to check the cookies to log in, but it doesn't always work (and doesn't allow you to post).

I'd encourage folk to pop a post here when the forum performance is bugging them (and they're actually able to post!) so we have a log in one place evidencing the frequency of issues to help with both diagnosis and potentially making the case for change.

Locking this thread just so we don't end up discussing in more than one place and diluting the message!
