I'll be honest, I've never read your blog, but do you actually role play with character sheets, dice, etc? I've always enjoyed the idea of solo roleplaying (as weird as some people think it sounds)
To be clear, I now have 2 blogs, one for BG3 The Afflicted and one for Demon Hunters (Out of the Abyss). For The Afflicted, I started the story as a legit BG3 recreated playthrough using 5e characters I made for the video game and then translated to tabletop. The original intent of that story was to test the BG3 campaign using real 5e rules and stats, and I enjoyed making it into a narrative, so I kept going through both books, adding my own flavor to the whole story. But yes, I did dice rolls, character sheets and such in that story. That's why I used to argue that Party of 4 Custom characters with party of 6 max could work well with BG3 if they simply used actual 5e monster stats. But anyway...
For Demon Hunters, absolutely. The same concept is being used. I have full character sheets for the 5, and actually 6 now with Graiyla, and I am rolling for ALL characters. With Fantasy Grounds organizing and rolling for me, it runs pretty smooth and fast. Then I type up the narrative as I go.
OMG. I can't wait to post the next chapter. The dice rolls... Something totally unexpected happened and... Well... Anyways... That's what really makes it even more fun for me. I have no idea how the story is actually going to go.
