I currently have an Intel 10700KF and a 3090TI, I play on a 3440x1440 monitor. Could upgrading my processor bring significant FPS increase?

I really don't think a modern 8 cores processor can bottleneck BG3, especially at that resolution.

My CPU usage is low, my GPU is pretty much maxed. Just wondering if this is normal?

The game is still in Early Access and optimization is likely still taking place. It would be best to hold off on any Baldur's Gate related hardware decisions until they release definitive specs for the game and finalize optimizing it before release, IMO.

That would be crazy if your processor and GPU could not play BG3 completely maxed out on a 1440p monitor at over 60FPS at release, IMO.

nice Gpu & Cpu worth at least 40 points now take 10 points off for Ram amounts under 12G or a slow speed hardrive then another 10 points for Windows 11 and you get the final score

yes maxed Gpu is normal at the start of the game, especially if it just got patched, when changing areas or during a fight... at other times it should be purring contentedly

What is your current FPS?

What is your monitors refresh rate? It could be holding you back
