Recommended system requirements on PC

(Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system)
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor (CPU): Intel i7 4770k / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
Graphics Card (GPU): Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB / AMD RX580
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Storage: 150 GB available space
DirectX: Version 11

I have a Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB (the exact recommended card) and an Intel i7-9700KF CPU (above the recommended), though the automatic detection settings don't put me in maximum graphic settings and de-active a lot of effects.
If I put everything at max, it's a bit laggy sometimes and my GPU is constantly between 80 and 100% (mostly 100%) (driver is updated);
I tried to change the frame rate from 240 to 120 but it's not better, and the GPU % usage does not reduce as well, surprinsigly ; by example when I rotate the camera around the characters, it's not perfectly fluid.
(tested with DirectX 11 and Vulkan, in 2540 x 1440) CPU & Memory are fine.

The game progressed a lot in 1+ year and the graphics are even better, I was wondering if now the game requires a bigger configuration to run at max fully without any lag?

[Bonus question] Do some of you play on big curved screens ? How does it feel with BG3 ?

I would say the game now needs at least a RTX 20xx to run on max details, preferably a 2070 or higher.

I'm on a Ryzen 7 3700X, RTX 3070, the game runs great in 2k, all settings maxed out.

I'm not the one to discuss pros and cons of a curved monitor, I have one and am firmly in the camp that it does wonders to the field of view or at least our perception of it. I do realize that it's just a flair and many people, rightfully so, say it's just a waste of money smile

Edit: I am curious how do the 1660 do in BG3, anyone have one?

Yes I agree it seems much more immersive and pleasurable. I'm watching for a Samsung Odyssey G5 for a maximum fun in BG3 release in August!
