In the trailer, the PC is clearly custom made, and has massive physique. So... I guess that means they will eventually implement body types?

Certainly looks like it. Was expecting them to be available this patch, but I guess not so definitely will be at launch.

A lot of things in the video for the Panel from Hell don't seem to have made it into the patch itself unfortunately.

I think it is becoming more and more clear that Larian is saving a lot of things for the full release of the game, including body types. I think it means a lot to them that even the people who have put hundreds of hours into Early Access have a relatively new experience even in the beginning stages of the game.

I know after the stuff just announced I really, really... REALLY, REALLY want to play more. But I think I am going to hold off until August... or Q4 if it gets pushed back.

The trailer was to announce Minsc and the launch date, not to preview the patch. The two are not directly tied.

Did you miss the Panel from Hell?

Everything was very intertwined. It's very understandable that folk thought that the patch would be covering stuff that was going to be showed off.

I watched it for an hour. They talked about the trailer, then they talked about the patch. I was not under the misapprehension that anything in the trailer would be in the patch. They were pretty clear about whether the things they were discussing were about Minsc and launch (and the CE) or when they were for the patch.
