Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems can not long rest anymore

So... I'm not sure what triggered it, but after being thunderwaved off a roof, after I was helped by a companion, I found I was no longer able to long rest. I tried traveling to the camp and selecting the campfire and beds, but nothing happens. I tried to quit the game and try again to no avail. It has definitely ruined the character in playing when I can no longer recover spell slots... I do have plenty of food as well.

I have this same bug coupled with not being able to talk to anyone - the dialog icon appears but clicking on a person does nothing. It often happens after combat (3rd time so far). Restarting the game and loading a save (even one with the bug) seems to fix it for now.

Never mind. Restarting and reloading a save is no longer working.

I had to go back to a save 1 hour back to get it to work again. The character was an oathbreaker Palidin and I'm not sure if it was what triggered it, but he was down, and I had one of my other characters help him up, and while the animation was still going I switched to the downed character and tried to select the long rest. I'm thinking while the animation for getting up broke being able to, by selecting it before the animation was over
