Hello, all. I just started a new run of the available areas, and it looks awesome! Since I haven't been her for a while (Patch 4 or something) I thought I would share some thoughts. some of it might have been covered before:
1. Fix the "Alt" function to highlight objects. It's a bug.
2. Following up on that, Darkvision and Perception needs to be ballanced. Why is my character, with Darkvision, standing in utter darkness?
3. It would be nice to have a choice as to follow map markers after whatever quest you're currently doing. I'm standing in the Myconoid colony, having 23 map markers.
4. Don't overdo the difficulty. I played Eye of the Beholder II: The Legend of Darkmoon, and it was ridiculous. Just like your Moon Puzzle. WTF?
5. Following up on that: Where in the current ruleset does it say that you can't rest in the Underdark, without getting sick? I know radiation was a thing 30 years ago, but now? Artificial difficulty is so 80s.
6. After completing the nonsensical Magic Tower, my party is still having the anti-magic effect, despite resting, and not carrying anything from there. Probably a bug.
7. Personal opinion: Lae'zel is too much of a harpy to ever travel with any group, no matter how hopeless their situation is. You might soften her up a bit?
8. Make items useful. I currently have 10 "rope," and have never used any.
9. Fix books. A book doesn't weigh 0.5 kilos. Also, make it knowledge when you read something.
10. Finally, do something with random loot/burried treasure. This has been a pet peeve since D:OS1. Nobody would bury a chest containing 2 gold and a pair of tongs. If a character has enough perception to find the loot, at least make it decent.
Apart from that? Wow! You've come a long way, and I can't wait 'till full release.
