i was doing the initial goblin fight and had moonbeam down. after the fight ended wyll ran straight into it and became hostile, I killed him and looted his corpse and used a res scroll on him immediately after. when he came back to life he immediately wanted to check my pockets.

and now hes just standing at the druid grove gate and whenever I speak to him he tells me to talk to him later.

I think that they need to change the NPC behavior to just stand still after a fight. I’ve had companions do some really dumb things while trying to reconvene after a fight.

I had to reload after freeing Nere a dozen times because one of the Gnomes would walk into the fire left behind by the explosives, turning everyone hostile. This is one of the Gnomes Nere will kill immediately in his cutscene mind you.

While they are at it... they need to do something about downed characters after the fight ends and the time goes to real time. This shouldn't turn into a test of my reflexes every single time. My preference would be for all downed conditions to simply end with combat, but I would find it acceptable to give one last round of turns so that we can help them up before we are on the clock again.

That was addressed in a patch a while ago. When a character goes down and combat ends a character no longer rolls death saves and you have all the time you need to get them back up. Before I had situations where I would lose characters if there was an automatic dialogue after a fight but that doesn’t happen anymore.

Unless you are talking about something else?

Hmm, I didn't realize that they fixed it. That's really good! I still pushed myself to "help" before the time limit was up last time I played, so I never noticed that.

Yes, it was annoying but I think in recent patches, as long as they’ve not actually died, downed characters will automatically stabilise at the end of battle as though they’ve successfully made three death saving throws even if they haven’t.

"You may call it 'nonsense' if you like, but I've heard nonsense, compared with which that would be as sensible as a dictionary!"
