Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Wheres the Cave from the Mainmenu?

So everybode playing the EA Version is aware of the Cave in the Mainmenu.
The on shown where the camera moves from top right to left showing a beach then going down into a cave showing some Stairs and lots of Skulls on a heap.

1. Where will this Cave be in the Release Version?
2. Does this Cave have any purpose besides as a preview for your Videosettings as it is now obvoious?

It would be a nice addtion to actually explore that place. Maybe a a hidden secret or easteregg.
Or a full fledged Dungeon somewhere near the seaside of Baldurs Gate City.

I don't think it is possible to know this and the people who do know probably aren't talkin'

I thought it was the cave in the Crypt? Where the crypt opens up to the light. If you go up and to the left after entering the room.

I thought it was a little vingette of our journey in the first act, from the beach to the Underdark, with a bit of a temple in between.
