Crash when trying to change the screen resolution

The game crashes when trying to set a different screen resolution in the video menu. As soon as I click "apply" after selecting a resolution other than the native monitor resolution the game closes instantly and I am back on the Desktop.

Game version: 4.1.1.2154614
OS: Win 10 Pro 22H2
GPU: AMD 6650 XT
GPU driver: 22.11.2

are you using a signle monitor... is fake fullscreen enabled?
i'll assume yes to the 2 above

start the Larian Launcher as admin then lower your Vsync settings and try a lower rez than your current one
