Pls. consider that Couch Coop is great for many console players wanting to play together without a second device.
Probably not the highest priority feature, but not that hard to code or test either when a game is prepared for it.
Will BG3 have this feature, either in Aug at release time or added later?
I understand this is not a primary release date concern, but it certainly is a Booster to anything sales on consoles.
I'd love to have it on PC, as there is few gamnes who suit it and I love to play split-screen controller coop games on a projector.
Split-screen is big for diggimng all the quality time together with your GF. BG3 is about realtionships after all. So the extensive captivating storyline shouldn't kill them in real life.

Agreed 100%, looking forward to this. Of course, since we wanted to play EA but they did not have co-op at EA launch, we both bought copies.
Then Stadia died. Now GFN is our new option to play EA.
Controller support sure would be nice though.
Getting used to M+K, but controller is a little more relaxed.

Option for DOS II style forced split screen, or shared screen, would be very nice.

Since the game is designed in every way for co-op play at the expense of single-player, I agree with you guys, They should add in every form of multiplayer option imaginable, and then include a very prominent label saying: Not recommended to be played as a single-player game. At least then Larian would be honest about what BG3 really is as a game. wink
