Hi, I have just notice that my two teleporter stones have gone missing in act 3.
I cannot recall if they were missing at the beginning of the chapter and I have not sold them. Is this correct? I sincerely hope it is part of the story line that they have dissapeared because if not them I am going to have to start the game gain - probably several months hence after I get over my dissapointment!

In which patch version are you playing, please?

they disappeared as a bug in former ones - but IIRC from 1.42 on, they were there (or maybe even earlier in the 1.4er generation patches). you don't really need them - I played version 1.0 to 1.3 without them

Maybe you left them lying around e.g. left one at a convenient spot and did a drop and teleport to get to it and picked neither up? I have been known to forget the stones on occasion <blush>.

They are not mandatory - in fact I find them a minor benefit compared to DD where they were more essential. A few act 3 spots require them to reach but only minor stuff there (one key in one location and a cave with mediocre loot in another).

I don't know, if they appear after you are in Act 3 already, never tried this variation. Good luck <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> - but this patch has more benefits, really.
