In the initial approach to the Myconid colony, the sovereign invites the player character to "descend" to him. Descend means to go down. Since it's necessary to climb several mushrooms to reach the sovereign, this should be "ascend" (meaning to go up). Unless this is an intentional error to show the communication difficulty, of course.
