Hello there!

Would just like to start off by saying that I understand the things I will list might not be as important to others and that people have other issues they would address but these are some of the things I would like to see changed / added. smile Also, I did not go through all the threads so if anyone mentioned things I add here, did not want to spam the same issue again.

First off, I am a huge dwarf fan in games / books / DnD so this is my main issue with BG3. The male model is really badly made. The way they hold themselves and move is really weird and looks like they are half paralyzed and just doing their best to move around and try to stand up straight. Also the male face options are pretty bad but could make them work if there was a single good hair and beard option to pick from. Beards in general are really bad but especially lacking dwarven styled ones.

Other than dwarf, I believe I read that there will be more races like half-orc and dragonborn which is really great, but I would also like to see goblins as a PC race. I think that would open a lot of interesting conversation options, especially in the 1st part of the game and the choices we can make so far.

A few immersion items I would like to list.
- quivers would be a welcome addition when using ranged weapons
- the option to show/hide shields when you have one equipped
- if weapons (swords, daggers...) could have sheaths while not drawn
- to be able to pick your clothing colour on details like shirt under a leather vest or the dye of the padded armour etc.

Gameplay wise
- being able to choose who talks to an NPC, especially when the conversation is initiated without the players consent (after a battle and such occasions)
- if food could be sent to camp and then used from camp storage and sorted automatically for long rests

Pretty sure there are other things I wanted to say but it slipped my mind in the process. grin
Thanks for reading! o/

I like this suggestion, for me it is transmog done right. It allows for some customisation while maintaining the look of the item.

+1

First time at Waukeens rest and burning buildings I went inside with my whole team and had a heck of a time to get everyone out again with smoke and blindness. Next time I split up and left my tres-amigos outside and went to the ambassador rescue on my own. When i broke down the door and she runs outside, I wanted to search her room quickly before everything burned down. I got 2 steps before the ambassador, now outside, engaged my party and started up a conversation .. meenwhile, my PC stood idle in a burning room and waited to act. A teeny weeny bit irritating, but at the same time funny how its not perfect.

The dwarf dudes' movement is fine, the githyanki dudes' movement is the real half-paralyzed here xD

Quivers +1 (even if it would occupy the cape slot)

Show Shield +1.

Scabbard +1 and proper sheath position(in a way similar to skyrim, but polearm can always be held in hand like a drawn staff)

Clothing color -1. I think there are plenty of loot we can get, as long as these loots were varied enough in fashion, then I don't care much about the coloring

Choose who to do the dialogue line with NPC -1. I feel the conversation mechanic is already quite decent.

Food in camp become auto pickable +1

On the Dwarven long beards absence, for what i've seen from other races, longer beards usually have some animation based on physics, they probably hadn't add them because they require more polish it would be really weird to me if they don't put such an staple of a look. That's my hope at least =P

Apart from all the gameplay stuff...I am still quite amazed Larian does not care for a Day/Night system in their RPGs. Even MORE amazed deciding to not have such a system in a BALDURS GATE game. A game KNOWN for its day/night system.

What this brings to the table is an immersive world, a even better looking world, opportunities for quests/dialogues, interesting encounters, and story driven elements. I am at a loss on why people can't seem to realize that. 95% of opinions seems to be that its just <fluff>.

Octopath Traveller 2, an HD 2D game has it. And it looks marvelous. So does 90% of rpgs out there, thinking of it. Whats the difficulty?
Really shows that they are using that same ol base DOS2 engine and its incredibly weird limitations?

It just reminded me of the bowl of goat's milk that old Winthrop used to put outside his door every evening for the dust demons. He said the dust demons could never resist goat's milk, and that they would always drink themselves into a stupor and then be too tired to enter his room..
