Hi.

Just poisened the orc well, and started hacking my way down to the orc camp. About half way there something strange happened. The black fog that obscures the parts of world you havent been to, almost dosent lift.

Usually the screen is clear around your character (light radius) and beyond that the area is fussy, but still kinda visible. But now even if I stand right by the black fog it dosent lift. My vision is about half inch around the character.

Also: I see the red hostile dots on the minimap and that they are closing in on me, but the monsters doesnt appear (I cant see them) until they are right by me. Very, very uncool when the bugger turns out to be a giant heavy orc or something

Reloading doesnt help 'cause I have only one save - the quicksave.

Whats happening?

Please read the last post - there are links leading you on. I fear, your hero has gone blind, due to items with a sight bonus.

Also, you're insane for not having a backup save. I play with minimal saves too, but after losing many, many hours of gameplay to a corrupt file too many times, I keep at least two saved games going.

Not meaning to offend, just making a strong suggestion.

holly crap i new it dont eat the food in the game its been poisoned.

wow after reading this post im scared to use stuff is there anyway of avoiding blindness help wheres the local lenscrafters i think my hero need glasses.

sorry for replying like this but is there any way of avoiding blindness i have been building on elven sight and ranger sight will that help?.

Use the hot fix that Kiya mentioned and install the patch. That will give you your sight back.
