Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems NPC stuck in wall

I am at the second summoning test in Act 4. I got stuck looking for the book, so went to the forums and noticed I need to talk to Tax. Small problem, Tax is stuck in a wall. I have noticed this problem a lot in the BF with the mobs, and only once with on of the merchants, however, I have always been able to work around it. Now, as far as I can tell, I am stuck in the game. I cannot progress any further and have no saved games before him getting stuck.

Is there any way to get him unstuck, or get one of my chars "stuck" in the same black area?

Do you have the "swap places" skill? Maybe you could try that to get him out of the wall...

There is no way to target him. I can only see him on the mini map moving around in the black area. I was able to make him appear for a couple seconds by having my main guy stand near the wall and my other guy talk to the second imp. Whenever you end a conversation, everything is visable for a couple seconds. By having my main guy near the wall, the window moved back to him after the converstaion with the second imp, and I could see Tax for a short time. I tried several times to target him during this window, but could never get him to talk.

Hmm.. I might try that with swap places. Area effect spells will kill the mobs in a wall, maybe trading spaces will work doing the method I did above. Guess I will give it a shot.

EDIT: Nope. Can't keep him visable long enough to cast the spell. Anyone have an idea on how to make him visable longer?

for now it sounds like your screwed over :\ I had something similar happen when my main character got stuck in some rocks after the faith test (I used the easy door and he got stuck :\)
