I am currently playing a wild magic sorceress (again), and I just met Auntie Ethel in the druid's grove.

I remember that there were special dialogue options for sorcerers, including one where our Tav can remark that there is something strange about Auntie Ethel, followed by more options where our character can ask her if she is a sorcerer, too, or remark that there is a touch of the wilds about her.

These dialogue options are still there, but appear only after I've told Auntie Ethel about the tadpole.
In previous games, if I remember correctly, these options appeared before I told her anything about our parasites.

Telling Ethel about the tadpole makes more sense to me when our sorcerer character knows or at least suspects that there is more to her than meets the eye, that she is more than a simple alchemist and that she might be able to help. (Yes, I know, you would still have to be either a bit reckless or truly desperate to seek help from a fey creature like a hag, but for some characters, I think it could make sense.)

I can't think of any reason why these lines should only be available later in this dialogue, as this is something our character might have noticed from the beginning.

I noticed this in other dialogues, too. Some dialogue options only appear once, even though it would make sense if they would remain available during the whole conversation.

I like this scene and the voice acting a lot, Auntie Ethel really comes across as a nice, kind old lady.
I'd buy her lotions and potions anytime 😄
