Dear community,
dear Larian team,

I've been an avid gamer since Divinty 1 and already since Kickstarter. Visited you at Gamescom and your games are leading in hours played on Steam.
I always play multiplayer with a friend. We can't wait for the 31st of August or 3 days earlier for Act 1. Big compliments to the developers, their humor and the community! Class!

We have two questions for you, sorry if the question has already been taken up in the forum.
1. Is there a way to travel to Baldur's Gate in act 2 or 3? Which act is it possible? And how big will this city be? For example compared to Divinity 2 in the third act?
2. Will it be possible to equip weapons or armor with runes again and are there sockets?

Thank you in advance. Happy Easter Form Germany

Oliver

Unfortunately, Larian Team doesn't post on this forum, except occasionally to respond to bug reports. So you won't get your questions answered officially.

Unofficially, my best guesses are:
1.) We'll most likely go to BG in act 2 and it will probably be bigger than cities in Divinity 2 (if only because Larian's size has increased). We see it in a dream sequence, and we're heading that direction in Act 1.
2.) There aren't* runes in D&D 5e, and there's been no indication that Larian plans to add them to BG3.

*The Rune Knight Fighter subclass is based around using Runes, but it's not from the default 5e Player's Handbook and so is unlikely to be included in BG3.
