Hey all. I went to the house of the healer in Verdistis. He tells me of a merchant that brings him exotic tea. Blah blah. Theres a hatch in the house underneath the bottom left bed. In there you'll fine a bunch of barrels and a room to the left of the many many many barrels. In there there is a yellowy/orange glove that says "when worn will turn your hands to bones" or something relatively close to that. My question is, why doesnt it work lol.

Do you mean the cellatr underneath the healer's home ?

This is what's left of Buad, I think.

This is actually a kind of Forum Insider Joke, relating to the infamous Alchemist Buad, and his even more infamous TEA.

Beware of the TEA !

It's the most dangerous fluid this Forum has ever seen - it's so destructive that there is almost no thing which can hold it ! Glass, Wood, nothing.

Only Buad knows the ingredients neccessary to build a barrel which can hold the TEA, and one of the ingredients was a Demon's blood !
(Actually, as Buad once told us, this demon was so frightened of the TEA that he finally gve up his "life", so in the end Buad coulduse his blood.)

Another example of the devastating effects of the TEA is that it's recipe cannot be written on paper, pergament, nothing is strong enough. Only the skin of a dragon withstands this receipe, at least for a while, until it vanishes into dust und smoke.

We've had some poor examples of Forummembers (Buad is just another Forummember here) coming in contact with the TEA : Marian, the Warlock is now able to breath fire, Ralf temporarily lost his form ( I think he took an Aemoba-shape like form, temporarily), and the TEA itself was able to come into the shape of a giant Marshmellow-Man, threatening other Forummembers. It could even spread itself into different "parts".

These are just some examples of the infamous TEA, and I guess you've learned by now that this is NOT the kind of "bringing him some exotic tea blabla" !

[And remember : This is a Role-Playing board ! ]

Alrik.

The characters in Divinity are 2D, so actually showing the hand bones when the gloves were equipped would require a few more sets of animations for each character. This is also the reason all large shields look the same when equipped, etc.
