If you don't know who Omeluum is yet, I'm not going to spoil it. It seems fairly obvious to me, that those three brain jars we can find in the epilogue on the nautiloid, should be something we can give to him, either in exchange for the thing he offers... or as an additional reward option. Same with the three illithid "books" you can find near the dead imps right after exiting the room where you pod is.

He should be absolutely giddy with excitement about those "books", after all...yet you can't even offer them to him. I want to see what something like him does he when he is happy.

I like it. I hope you are right. Brains and books definitely felt like things with intended purpuse, that got never used in EA.

Game - because you have 3 'brain in a jar' in your inventory

Luke Skywalker: I don't, I don't believe it.
Yoda: That is why you failed.

I've been racking my brain to come up with a good name for my 80's revival synth pop band, but now I've found it.

Maybe we can resurrect those brains and turn them into mercenaries!

Use the brain jars to make Us a permanent companion?

Instead of snacking on our companion, we can snack on the brain in the jar when we finally turn into a mind flayer. Well worth keeping in inventory.

You know, I do feel like those books should give me some kind of skill check bonus. A thousand years of goblinoid history at my fingertips, and I can't remember what a simple booyagh is when I'm talking to Volo.
