I made this poll months ago and I'd like to see if any minds had changed since then.

Which Non-PHB subclass would you like to be in the game *REDUX* single choice

It was a hard choice between Hexblade and shadow magic, but I had to choose my favorite subclass for my favorite class.

Why did you picked specificly those subclasses? O_o

Since my vote would otherwise go clearly towards Circle of Shepherd Druid. O_o

My most favourite would be Divine Soul Sorcerer.

Don't care, not interested in any non-PHB class ATM.

Kind of the same. I mean ... I've had a Druid in my list of potential PCs for a while. In her initial conception, she'd be a perfect Shepherd Druid.

But given how impractical the party controls are, especially when it comes to summoned creatures, I've long decided that I might have to recast her as a Stars or Wildfire Druid.

I don't anticipate that the quality-of-life/comfort of play of the summoner gameplay style (army of beasts/undeads) is going to be particularly great.

So I've mostly given up of that idea ...

Hexblade and clockwork sorcerer.

And as a full class artificer.

Storm Sorcerer

Artillerist & Battle Smith

Alchemist as its own full class with e. g. Grenadier subclass

Some specials I would like are Raven Knight, Blood Hunter (wisdom based) and an overhauled Arcane Archer.

As far as I can tell, those are the most popular non-PHB subclasses for each class. And I don't know if you can make a poll big enough to fit every subclass in it, but I'm scared to try.

If you do try, and I don’t blame you a bit for not doing so , perhaps you could tick the option that lets folk see results without voting? Not being a TT player, and having no familiarity with 5e outside BG3 and early Solasta, I have no opinions on any subclasses outside the PHB. But I’m still interested to see what other folk think is cool!

Sorry about that. Stats class from college got me worried about cascading effects if people know the results of a poll ahead of time. I'll fix it if I make polls in the future.

Its your topic ofc, do whatever you want but i just cant help the feeling that poll made like this have little to none information value. :-/

Not shocked Hexblade is winning, as I believe it's quite popular atm. I have to admit a lot of the others would have been a bit more interesting, though, like echo knight.

Sorcerer - Aberrant Mind. It is very fitting for the BG3 plot as having a tadpole without turning into a Mindflayer is one of its origins.
Warlock - Hexblade. It would be very fitting for Wyll as the Blade of Frontiers.
