Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Leveling up

I am new to the game. Am told I am level 2, but cannot find how to level up? Any help would be appreciated.

There should be an arrow at the top left of your character portraits at the left of the screen: click that. Or go into the character sheet (eg by pressing "N" or clicking the smaller circle to the left of the circular portrait for the currently selected character at the bottom of the screen) and towards the top, under their name the progress bar towards the next level you'd normally see should have transformed into a button you can click to go to the level-up screen.

Oops, just answered this as if for BG3 then realised it's in the D:OS2 forum. We tend to be BG3 focused around here these days, with D:OS players mainly having decamped to Reddit or Larian's Discord (the link to the latter can be found at the bottom left of their website, I think). You may have better luck getting D:OS2 questions answered there.
