Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Are PC and Mac saves compatible?

So the PC version will be released August 3 but there's no firm date for the Mac version, not even the previously stated August 31. If I play the PC version using Boot Camp, does anyone know if the progress there, i.e. the save games, will carry over to the Mac verions once it's released?

I reached out to Larian support and they said that yes, the release version saves on PC and Mac will be compatible. Here's the message:
"Yes, release version saves will be compatible between Windows and Mac (and PS5)."
