Not a really bad problem, but just wondered if anyone else has run across this. I normally shut down Norton Anti-virus when running any game or program but sometimes I leave it running. This problem seems to happen either way. I'll be in the middle of playing and Norton will pop up with an error message and stop the game. I can close the error message and resume the game but Norton is shut down for good and I have to reboot the machine to restart my virus protection.
This only happens with . I can run any other game with no problem. Just wondered if anyone else is experiencing this problem.

Others have had problems with real-time antivirus programs;

Yes, I get this with Norton AV as well. All other games work just fine with it so it's not a problem with the AV software, it's something Divinity is doing to upset it. Not that Norton is perfect or anything, disabling it doesn't help as the stupid heap of junk keeps writing to disk every 30 seconds or so (as anyone who has tried to run a scandisk will know).

Not sure that this is a problem. I am seeing the same problem with PopCap's game Zuma Deluxe and now I think it is causing Temple of Elemental Evil to crash whenever I change from one location to another. Also beginning to get strange messages from Norton on startup. Wierd, and now way to contact Norton support without paying for it...
