Hi,
So, after the last announcement about the version 1.0 having 600 spells, i have two questions:

1º) Anyone knows how many spells are there currently in EA?

2º) According to the list of included spells in the announcement, i don´t see any divinitaion spells. What new divination spell can we expect in version 1.0 so that the Divinitaion Wizard seems useful?

So, according to that there are about 144 aprox. spells, inlcuding "sub-spells" as the announcement does count.

Out of all of them, only 4 are Divination Spells for wizard, which is pretty underwhelming and make me wonder even more which Divination spell will they include in order to make the Divination Wizard viable.

In PnP Divination is one of the most powerful wizard subclasses, but it's because of Portent, not Expert Divination. They could simply replace Expert Divination with a different ability, they will need to do that for most of the wizard subclasses, most of then have something that won't work as written in BG3.

Yeah, i guess that would be an alternative. But I wonder which abilities would they introduce in that case hehe.

Always on automatic Identify?

In BG3, one of the strongest Divination spell is the camera. It can do most of the stuff that Claivoyance or Arcana Eye can do, as early as Level 1.

Although this was nerfed a bit at some point. Now it can no longer see through doors.

But even so, it remains to be seen if there will be much reason to use these 2 spells, if Larian decided to implement them.

Mind Spike is a PnP diviner staple.
