Missing mouse pointer
It goes away when I launch the game. Things i have tried
I am in Vulcan and would like to stay in Vulcan
Disabling precision pointer
Full-screen and fake fullscreen
Disabling the second monitor so I only have 1
Updated drivers
I have run the launcher in admin, but can't find the game exe to try launching that as admin.

At my wits end. I played fine a few updates ago

step 1 lauch the game with DX12 and see if you get the mouse back
step 2 tell us what your system is so people don't waist their time guessing

are you using some kind of special gaming mouse or is it just a stock standard mouse?

Generic Mouse. When I launch in the launcher 12 is not an option. Just Vulcan and 11

now that its working in DX11 go back to using Vulcan...same old settings as before should now work mate
why = because your system is configured to remember settings and changing from one to the other is a good work around for software blocks

p.s, DX12 is DX11 [with a few extra files this game doesn't use] but try using "fake fullscreen" with that system instead of Windows mode

it did not. it is really odd. In Vulcan. If I say have a file explorer open over the game and am not focused on the game I can see the cursor when I hover over the game. The moment I switch focus to the game it disappears.

did you change screen rez on one?
try setting them both to the same recommended so if left is say 1920X1850 @ 100% then the right one should be too... restart system and test if the mouse comes back

I had the same problem. Here is what I did to fix the problem. Outside of the game, in regular windows, I had changed some of my mouse settings such as
displaying pointer trails. After returning all of my mouse properties back to default in windows, I returned Baldur's Gate and voila!, my mouse pointer had finally arrived! I hope this helps anyone with this problem as well. Good luck.

So I must have done something wrong the first time I troubleshooter the issue. Cus I swear I checked all that.
Anyways so I downloaded Baulders gate 1 and my mouse ALSO disappeared. SO I went back and checked all the things I thought I did the first time and the 'display mouse trails' was checked, even though I swear I un checked it. SO I unchecked it and all is fine now.
