Ummm? southeast of market place is house. Love letter
from romeo to julet. Then south of that is cave, They are
north of the Dwarven village. A lich is in it.
There are a lot of red dots behind the walls.
NO switch, no door. Either or both of these belong to a
Quest? I haven't found a thread that matches this question!

BTW: In a LOT of your dungeons there seem to be a lot
of red dots (ie: enemies?) behind walls that have no
doors or access to them. Is that a programming layout
of multiple dungeons that are on a level 1, 2. 3, etc?
I refer to poison cave ( elrath ) ; elona's dungeon;
and the 2 dungeons in the warriors guild quests.

The red dots - could be a bug. I don't really know, it's so long since I have played the game.

By the way, there are *lots* of so-called "Easter Eggs" in the game !

Maps are all organised on four giant 2D layouts. Rivertown, including the catacombs and sewers and all other basements is one map. Verdistis is another. The Council of Seven and the Wastelands are the other two. What you are seeing is monsters elsewhere on the map. The hearing skill doesn't check to see if the monster is in the same portion as you. So it's a negleted thing more than a bug.

Easter eggs are little hidden surprises the Easter Bunny plants in your garden each year. And the same has been translated into games. Easter eggs are any bonuses that you can find. Mostly they don't affect the game at all. They're usualy references to other stories, like the Romeo and Juliet thing mentioned above.

Thank you. You were very kind to explain that.
I heartly agree it is not a bug. It was disconcerting
that i had not fully searched a dungeon.
